The School labs are set up as per the requirements of Central Board for Physics, Chemistry and Biology and are well stacked with the resources and equipment to promote practical fervour in students. Apart from the Secondary School, Middle School students also have regular laboratory sessions in the curriculum.

Books are an integral part of school life and apart from the regular textbooks, gaining further knowledge and sourcing are vital. To ensure that the research skills and the reading skills of students is honed, the School has a well resourced library with a variety of periodicals, journals, magazines, newsletters, books of fiction, reference books and volumes of encyclopedias. Students are encouraged to use the library for reading, creative writing and preparing book reviews and projects.

The school offers an integrated reading programme which focuses on phonetics and pre phonetics for pre primary levels and classics for all levels up to Grade I. This builds on the literary competency of the learners.

MathLab is a special programme that helps improve conceptual understanding of Math by means of commonly available material around us. This provides students a better understanding of the subject through unique techniques, which also leads to improved interest and participation in the learning process. This kind of hands on learning experience propels students to think divergently to understand and solve mathematical problems.

A healthy body ensures a healthy mind and creating awareness of the need to be physically active and agile is paramount in SGIPS. The School has an array of excellent sports facilities which include cricket, tennis, badminton, basketball, and football. More physical activities are included as a part of the academic programme.

Every child gets an opportunity to participate in competitive athletics and inter school sports programmes. In fact, sessions are dedicated to sports, games and activities on a regular basis.

An indoor Swimming Pool equipped with a state of the art modern filtration plant that keeps the hygiene factor in check. Exclusivity of use, restricted to SGIPS students.

Daily Commute Facility for students is provided on request. The GPRS tracked buses are equipped with radio connectivity. Each bus is manned by a proficient driver and an attendant. Our emphasis is always on the safety and comfort of students.

The School has a contemporary computer lab that is designed to meet the child’s Information Technology needs.
